Navy cadets is the perfect answer for active teenagers.
Navy cadets is about fun, friendship, action and adventure. We inspire young people to challenge their limits and go further in life, no matter what they aim to do.

From the age of 13 (Year 9 and above) to 20, Navy Cadets offers a dynamic leadership and activity-based program that operates independently yet in conjunction with the New Zealand Defence Force.
As cadets advance through the program, they have the exciting opportunity to go to sea on HMNZS vessels or travel abroad for exchange visits with cadet forces in other countries.
Despite the rigorous activities, the focus remains on fun and adventure. Cadets engage in a variety of activities including sailing, hiking, shooting, bushcraft, camping, first aid, and sea survival skills.
